Coaching is an investment!
And I like the following definition of the word investment: “Investment is time, energy, or matter spent in the hope of future benefits actualized within a specified date or time frame.”
Rich Litvin puts it slightly differently by changing the the word “or” to the word “and” to read:
“Investment is time, energy, AND matter spent in the hope of future benefits actualized within a specified date or time frame.”
In my experience, the clients who really invest in their coaching are the ones who get the most value from their coaching.
They are the ones who really hear their coach when they are called out to invest their TIME, their ENERGY, their COMMITMENT and their FOCUS towards their goals. They’ll embrace the challenges (we all have them), they’ll take risks, they’ll do the deep inner work needed and they’ll practice, practice, practice.
The clients who see coaching as a ‘cost’ are the ones who will complain, get frustrated when the challenges occur, hesitate, procrastinate and hold back. And then get upset when they don’t create what they ‘say’ they are committed to.
When you said yes and made your payment to any of my programs, that was just the first part of your investment…
Next comes your investment of TIME, ENERGY, COMMITMENT and FOCUS towards what you REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to create for you, your life and your business.
